Chicago Tribune Courts Commuters With Tabloid Edition: "Bankrupt Tribune Co.’s flagship Chicago newspaper is targeting commuters with a tabloid-sized edition that will appear on weekdays starting Jan. 19.
The contents of the tabloid Chicago Tribune will be the same as those of the broadsheet edition, said spokesman Michael Dizon in an interview. Home-delivery subscribers will continue to get the broadsheet, while only the tabloid will be available at newsstands, he said."
